I'm enjoying the newest addition (recent comments) to the homepage. It's interesting to learn a bit about plants I'd likely not search for by name. It's also another glimpse into what's happening in the DB. There's always something new to do with plants, or new plants to learn about, going on here at any given time. I like that...a lot!

The comments are great and so helpful, useful and informative, but I often don't get a chance to see them. So adding the recent ones to the homepage has been great for me. I'm glad you like it, too.

Any chance you could knock it down to the most recent five comments instead of ten, until you get the "customize your home page" feature written? It takes up a powerful lot of real estate down there (although it seems I'm the only person who prefers not to see them, so feel free to ignore this).

I could live without seeing that many of them...
