In Photography, Timing Is Important

If you want to take pictures of your flowers, do it just before sunset to get the color just right. In bright sun the color bleaches out.

you are so correct so important in trying to ID a plant or sell a plant. Even if you are not doing either just to have its true beauty to remember and show
others

here is a series of 3 shots and the last darkest is the true orange of this fire hibiscus but they look like 3 different plants

WOW...the difference in color is amazing !!! When Muang Jack blooms again I may have to drag a stepstool out at sunset to get a more betterer pic of her I tip my hat to you.

Sometimes early or late is all that works for me...if even that does. I live in a sun country, so to speak. I've even tried to block the sunshine with my body, but usually doesn't work. And I have the most trouble with blooms of white or blue! I don't know how to use my current camera correctly. Trial and error...lots of errors!
