Vera Cruz Rose... I had to dig this up.. it was standing in water to close to the street and crowded by my purple boogies. ..so I have to figure out what to do with it...


I figure I will just dig a spot and plant it...suggestions welcomed!!

I have never seen that much yellow in Vera Cruz Rose...

Here is the same plant before all the rain.. it wasn't happy where it was... maybe that is why?

That looks a LOT like Hawaiian Rose to me!

I think you need to send it to me. It happens to be one of my 10 favorites! A very photogenic plumeria!

We got this as a stick from friends in Hawaii and I do believe you are correct. So I'm changing the list to Hawaiian Rose. It is a rich yellow, almost orange compared to most yellows. Thank you ...

One other note on the Hawaiian Rose the bloom petals are "meaty", thick. The smell is heavenly one of my favorite scents.

Exactly right on the substantial petals, Robert, and it is supposed to be a seedling of Vera Cruz Rose so maybe the confusion stems from there. And yes, a rich orange-yellow color. I cannot pass this one without taking a picture of it!

lol was getting ready to place another order i think i need to start traveling down south with pruning shears if all those trees are in vacant lots im sure they need a trimming here and there..
