I don't grow it, or know anyone who does, but I did take a photo of it back in May 2008 in his greenhouse. It was not named then, but this has to be it. This photo has not been retouched or even cropped. Enlarge to see all the flower.

I saw a bit of a bidding war over some seeds using it as a cross last week. Thats the extent of it for me.

That flower is really pretty. His photo shows it more purple I think.

It's one of his that does really well on the Gulf Coast, most of his are too dormant for us. Have never used it because I do not mess wite blue eyes.

This is the rhird year I have had it. The foliage is about 8 inches tall and the scape this year had two buds about 7 inches but were 6 inches off the ground. I was wondering if this is typical of it's performance.
