Lisa - It's great to see these photos. I look forward to more from you. That gigantic metal daylily sculpture is amazing! Did you happen to find out who the artist was who made it? The closeups of the four Gossard intros are wonderful! Had it cooled off in Ohio by the time you toured the gardens?

Hi Debra! Yes temps had cooled but area was still very dry. The tour gardens looked so much better than I expected given the weather this last month. We actually had light rain Saturday during the tours which helped keep it cooler and showed which ones held up in the rain (substance). You will notice that the pictures for saturday become fewer in each garden for this reason.

The daylily sculpture in the Gossard gardens came from an artist in Michigan (Gossard got it last year at the regional there). This year they had several of these for both silent auction (went for $325- $450 each) and the raffle (of course I did not win one) There will be more pictures of other ones in other gardens. I do not know the artist name butr someone else who was there (or at regional last year) may know and chime in.

I just love his place and the blooms are so wonderful. Wish I could have been there. The metal sculptors are fantastic and really inspirational for everyone I would bet.
