I ordered some Ghio iris from Superstition. They came last week and I have planted them. They include Bowled Over, Picture Book, Bubbling Waves, Center Ice, Romantic Lyric, and Through the Clouds. Anxious to see them next year. I also have an order coming directly from Ghio and I will list what I receive when they come.

Paul, that star appeal sure is a nice pink. Is it thrifty? So many of the Ghio iris don't do well for me unless I put them in my micro climate. Although last winter was mild, and they did really well. I forgot to list Staring, another one of his that I like alot.

Tom....Nice picture of Starring. I've wanted it and several people grow it here. We are having our UIS sale/auction next week and I hope there is a start there. My Ghio iris have been doing fine but we have had mild winters recently. I think we are 5b-6a depending on who you ask. Star Appeal grew well but just gave me two large increase to bloom next year. I hope it increases well this year because I would like to have some to take to our UIS sale/auction next year. We can never get enough pinks there to please public demand,

Great pictures Tom and Brad....a person could have a large bed of Ghio intros with endless variety. The same could be said for Keppel, Black, Johnson, and others.

I think Pop Idol is really nice, I had it, made it through the winter, had one bloom, and then died. I had Super Hero on my list to buy this year, but I just couldn't justify $50 with the luck I've been having with his iris, so I'll wait until it goes down some and then give it a try. Plot Line is an interesting one too.

I have several Ghio Irises that I like. They're older ones, but that's OK with me.

*Epicenter*

*Comfortable*

*Magical*

*Inside Job*

*Society Page*

I also have *Impressionist* -- an Iris that I love, but which is very tempermental. Stingy with blooms and increases. Beautiful, though.........

I agree with Paul -- I love Ghio Irises!!

When I enlarge the picture of Magical the blossom just visually jumps at me from the back ground....almost magical. I'd have been pleased to have taken that picture.
