Saw these this morning at a local nursery. And almost bought one, but have no good place to hang it.

Thumb of 2012-07-20/CDsSister/cfd882

Already divided and ready to place the plants into it.

I should have taken a picture of the empty frame too.

Now you have to go back and take a photo of the empty frame, so we can see how it is made. Hurray!

Sooo, you haven't reached the point where taking photos replaces the urge to buy?
You grip the camera in both hands every time you are tempted. Thumbs up

Sometimes this method actually works. Rolling my eyes.

Here is another. Basically the same but they use landscape fabric or shade cloth instead of the wire hardware cloth.

Thanks, for all the suggestions. I tip my hat to you.

Seems they use a very small grid suggestions. I think the one at the nursery simply holds the 4 inch pots making potting a bit easier.

But the costs of using these directions to create your own is very attractive, if you are handy with a hammer and nails. Whistling

To water mine I just lay it on the ground to water, then re-hang after an hour or so.

Can they stay outside in the winter? I've not grown succulents before. I'm in 7b.

They can stay out all winter if they are planted with hardy succulents/perennials. Just lay them on the ground.
