I meant to yank this out much earlier, but the whole area is now too overgrown to get to it without stomping on desirable plants. It's probably 4 ft tall or maybe a bit more. Anyone know how much trouble I'm in? Because, as you can see, it's covered with blooms which will of course turn into many, many seeds! Blinking

Well, that is certainly it! Thanks, Janet! It is rather pretty; maybe I should just snip off the bloom stalks so it doesn't take over everything. There's just the one plant right now. Sigh, I have a bad habit of getting enamored of noxious weeds.....

It is perennial, unless it's short lived. I would leave a stem to make seed just in case. Noxious weeds, or wildflowers as I would call it, are far better for insects and often much prettier than cultivated plants.
