debra's yard is definitely a stand out in her neighborhood. it sits near the end of the small road and can be seen as you travel up a busy larger road. when you turn down her road and come upon what she's done up close it really is very beautiful and one of a kind. her helpers are pretty amazing at how fast they work. grass in the mo'ning and flower beds at night.

Josh's Shield -- planted with the daylily seedling registered for Joshua Cullins, USMC Reservist and LAPD officer killed in the line of duty, Afghanistan 2010; and two daylily plantings with stone/paver borders (Sanford Toad Hall and Texas Beautiful Bouquet).

Debra, the stones around Joshua Cullins look like a wreath. Very nice.
You're steadily getting rid of that grass! YAY! The garden looks good. Is that an oak that shades the house?

He is why I started the Green Amber Gardens website. I also have a Japanese Maple for Officer Jillian Smith (in a container for now), a circle of Echinaceas for C.J. Robinson, and am building a bench for Officer Jeremy Henwood. Those four are my memory folk. If no one else adopts the idea, I am still content.

I personally know how beautiful Debra's heart is and she has reflected that same quality in the transformation of the grounds around her adorable home into this lovely garden of Eden. Well laid out, and thoughtfully transformed into a garden with not only beauty but with deep meaning. You, Debra, are a treasure, and beauty will follow you everywhere with everything you touch and inspire. A little bit of Dallas grows serenely in my gardens in Vermont thanks to Debra's grand heart.
