Mine is in a full sun garden. When there is daylight and an hour or so after sunrise the blooms are blue.Mid day and beyond it turns a pink-lavender. See if there arent some different images on Plant Database or the internet. They will show the plant in its pink stage.

I like the shorter varieties and hope they dont flop as much as the tall phlox do. I have a fortune sunk into plant supports.

LOVE that Red Caribbean
I had previously pulled out all my phlox since they had really bad powdery mildew and I tried everything to get rid of it, but no luck
but got 2 at last plant swap a noid and Katherine, to try again(I'll get pics tomorrow)
they were still in pots till today(finally cooled off enough to do some planting) and flowering
