My lupins have finished blooming and are covered with seed pods right now. Since I don't want the entire area taken over by them, I've started hacking off the stalks with the seed pods. But if anyone would like seeds, let me know and I'll start stuffing them into a bag instead of the trash can!

The seed pods have already started popping open, darn it, but I can probably snag enough for you guys to give them a try. Eeek! I should have been quicker; I'm going to have the darn things everywhere! I'd prefer a small padded SASE so I don't have to journey into town to the post office.

I am taking lupin seeds from my daughter's garden.
Many of the pods have split and shed the seeds already.

So, how come I can buy seeds from a Canadian company, but can't send seeds to you? Just curious, because I often buy from Butchart Gardens.

I can buy seeds from companies in the USA , but they have special clearances with Canada's Agricultural bureaucracies.
Some of the smaller USA companies can not afford to jump through the hoops so they can not send seeds to us.
I can not send seeds to the USA without the person getting a Phytosanitary certificate from US Agriculture.
The NARGS organization does this for the Seed Swap so I can send seeds to them.

I was disappointed this spring to find that Botanical Interests could not send seeds up here.
I used to find their seeds in local garden shops, and also I could place orders and they would ship them.
I am hoping that they are able to "jump through the hoops" and we can access their seeds--- which I really liked.

Hmm, that's interesting. There's an ebay seller I'm contemplating buying some seeds from who appears to be in Canada. Wonder if it's legit to buy from her.
