Your pretty woman is sure nuf a winner.
I've seem a bunch of tiny baby mantis in my daylilies this year. some of them less than an inch long a few weeks ago. Now, they are about an inch but showing a lot of growth in the two weeks. I've had to be careful when gathering my seed pods because they would be on the backside of the pods and I nearly cut one before I saw the little thing. Since, I've really tried to look before welding my trusty siccors to cut the pod off the scape. I'd be so sad if I hurt one. They are just precious to me. I've also got a lot of the baby black and yellow garden spiders. They were so small at first that I wasn't sure that was the kind they are. They have finally gotten big enough for me to see the strips. I guard these spiders every year from know until the first frost when they usually die. Actually, I think they may die when they lay their huge eggs sack. I had several of their big seed sacks last year that I found in my pots when I was repotting so many. I knew what they were, so I very carefully laid them aside, redid the pots and then put the egg sack back in the pots so they would hatch out this summer.
I don't know about ya'll, but I swear time is flying by. It just doesn't seem like it's getting so close to fall already. In a few days it will be August and time for school. Wow, we need to slow done some because I am not ready for Summer to be over.
Blessings to all, Mona
