Giant Swallowtail Butterflies and Your Citrus Trees

It started out as a usual morning as I hand watered the front garden; then I noticed what looked like bird droppings all over one of the lime trees.

Now, I'm on the lookout for Swallowtail cats. Big Grin We have lots of adults, but I can't recall actually seeing the caterpillars.

You probably have one of their host plants growing nearby. I hope you find them. Smiling If you are seeing the adults, they are probably still laying eggs and there's a good chance of finding them... I just found a new batch of caterpillars.
