First I am going to sing the praises of this amazing Plumeria species, which is originally from Santa Margarita Island near Venezuela.
The leaves are very interesting and a shiny, deep green color. Then it has the most interesting shrub-like growth habit and is beautiful as a hedge. They tend to grow to about 10 ft tall eventually but they can easily be trimmed back each year in the early spring, which gives it enough time to favor you with a flush of blooms by early summer, blooming as late as December. Unless there is a very cold winter, the plant keeps its leaves year-round in our zone.
I had grown some of these specifically for someone who would buy a few from me every other week or so, but this person has backed out of our deal and I now have a bit of a glut of rooted Plumeria pudica.
So: special of the week, three rooted cuttings for $ 12 plus actual shipping. Please contact me if you're interested.
