This is an inexpensive, although time consuming way to make a garden party or evening wedding magical! It uses disposable plastic cups, sand in the bottom of each, and a votive candle. The design is up to you!Thumb of 2012-07-28/slmynatt/5b7a4c

Just be sure you make your design in an area where ladies in long dresses will NOT be walking. Wedding receptions should be memorable.....but not with a fire truck!

Very pretty. I can't imagine how long it takes to light them all.

There are now 'electric' votives you can get, much safer, and they are reusable many times.
We use them for a display at the Naples Botanical Garden for the 'winter solstice' celebrations.

I was thinking of using the battery operated candle lights and making the designs on the bridal table.
