I have some over stuffed pots of tender succulents that I am going to separate and offer them up as a give away this Fall. I do not want to bring in 3 and 4 pots of the same plant for the winter.

How are your plants doing this summer. Mine seem to be loving this heat and dry conditions.

This aloe is so big ("20" big) I planted it in the ground and it has a lot of babies. It is not a small Aloe It is growing more like a large size bush. lol I will bring Big Mama in but the babies will not join her.

I'm always up for some cuttings or pups...

That is good because I am going to have a bumper crop. This is crazy how the plants are growing this year.

I think it is a stapeliads. But I don't know the genus. Did it flourished?

Can be used to create, in backyard, a small 'arid garden.' ( for summer in your area)

I agree on Stapelia (which is the genus...). The species will be revealed by the flower color. Here is one of mine blooming.

It has not flowered yet. It does have a lot of buds. I will snap a pic when it flowers and maybe someone can ID. I do have it outside now and it is even bigger now.

The plants were sent to me as a trade and she said there were 2 colors. So there are two different plants in the pot.

Don't have it inside or too close to the house when it blooms! The smell is akin to rotting meat to attract lots of flies for pollination. I found that out the hard way up in Calif, had one hanging by the door

Yes Jonna I heard they stink. I am happy it is blooming now outside and not in the winter when I have my plants indoors.
