All gardeners are in a funk this year because of the weird weather, so we all are looking for sign of Hope. Glad to see the pretty thistle and of course Ethan's sunflower (what a perfect one too). I haven't had a brug this year, maybe part of my own neglect, but not giving up. Yes, I agree, the summer of 2012 has not been good for most of us. Thumbs down

The sunflower is perfect!

We were in SE Kentucky this week-end and boy howdy are they getting rain. It is so green there. There was about a 15 minute deluge while eating lunch there on Friday and it was raining as we left today.

Sure wish it would be neighborly and send that rain your way. Lovey dubby
