Being an artist and a gardener, maybe a writer too, I got a little mesmerized by your interview with Jane. Delightful, Dave.

She is one who obviously never colors within the lines either, so I can totally identify with the very interesting way her thoughts roam yet eventually seem to tie into each other and create a cohesion among many things: environment, plants, people, food and beauty. I also like the way she allows Nature to have the upper hand.

I haven't read the book, but just from the interview and the personality that showed through, I intend to do so.

Wow, great interview ... thank you Dave for introducing us to Jane Gates! I scrolled through some of her artwork while listening to the interview and loved it all! Her garden designs are outstanding and I am making a note of the title of her book because it certainly sounds like one I want to purchase.

I'm glad ya'll liked the interview. Audio interviews let us get a better feel for the interview subject - it's so much better than a text interview that is read. With audio you can hear the voice and hear their excitement and passion about their subject.

Are you clicking on the little arrow (the play button)? What happens when you do?

I click on the little play arrow and it turns to a little square and does nothing.

I had looked at it several times, and each time it looked different; sometimes there was a line or an approximation of a box type image, other times it was totally blank.
When I ran my cursor over it I could tell it was there, it just didn't show until I clicked in the area. It did appear after I clicked on it, and I was able to listen to it.

Ah..

I see what's happening for me. It's looks like it's a page loading delay.

It played for me now.

That means it's playing. The square is a "stop button". Are your speakers on? If you watch a youtube video, can you hear that?

I finally found a half-hour to sit down and listen to this interview, and I'm so glad I did. Jane Gates has so many good ideas and I love her theatre analogy.

The theatre analogy really did work well in her book. Each plant is auditioning for a role in your garden. I loved it.

The minutes and seconds just stay at zero. I think it might be a loading problem for me also. I will try again when I get home later today.
