Gorgeous reds, Karen! I also have Alexander Woollcott, still young and single and it is my favorite red (waiting for The Mackinac Grand to compare).

I do have quite a few red ones.

Here is Blood Moon

Thumb of 2019-12-24/Mieko2/9bddc4

My favorite NOID woody peony.
Thumb of 2019-12-24/Mieko2/b1bfc2
Thumb of 2019-12-24/Mieko2/11ce20

Ming Joy is dark and hard to photograph

Thumb of 2019-12-24/Mieko2/c37fc0

Jewel is large and sturdy. It came from La Pivoinerie as a bonus. I haven't seen it offered anywhere and I'm so glad she sent one to me.

Dark Eyes struggled after my Spring flood. I hope it will come back this Spring

Thumb of 2019-12-24/Mieko2/edfffd

This herbaceous red NOID blooms before Red Charm and is pretty
Thumb of 2019-12-24/Mieko2/7b31c1

Blaze is very early and dependable

Wow, super gorgeous Anya and LG! You guys have some very stunning reds! What a treat and delight for the eyes this morning!

My favorites of yours, Anya are Old Faithful, Red Satin, and Henry Bockstoce. Your Old Faithful is especially nice! I need to have a serious talk to my OF peony!

LG, your collection of reds is beautifully wide ranging in colors. Love Blood Moon, Ming Joy, and the red Noid that bloomed before Red CHarm. Do you think it maybe Red Satin? It looks kinda like Anya's Red Satin.

I love seeing everyone's reds. I added several reds this Fall because of the photos posted on the Peony Forum.

Anya's Old Faithful is gorgeous. I did move mine this Fall.

I added another Mackinac Grand because mine has never done well and everyone here posts such beautiful photos!

I also added Red Satin, so I will be able to compare my red NOID to it whenever it starts blooming, Karen! We all know how hard it is to ID common looking peonies, so I'm not really expecting much! I enjoy it even without knowing its name.

Thanks, LG. I love all of my reds, they are all different, but they are all great varieties. I just only wish AW and OF would grow faster.

Merry Christmas to all! Another great day to wake up to! Bounty of gorgeous reds!

Alex, your Red Charm is to be envied! I seriously need to relocate mine. It is not doing well in its present location. I seem to be very partial to AW so I won't say much about it except yours is exquisite as well. Big Grin Big Grin

Frank, magnificent bush shots of Early Scout, Mackinac Grand(MG), and Blaze! That MG bush is literally covered in blooms! Stunning! Everyone, you have got to see Frank's MG! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Frank, the only thing about Blaze is it looks like it wants to be released from its cage! LOL

Wow, another great showing, Anya! I love that you break it down into the red and the dark red groups. I love the bush shots, particularly of Peter Brand. I love how the stems are spread out like a fan. It is very nice! The dark reds look stunning in your garden, Anya! Do they look this good every year?

Thank you, Karen! My peonies are still young, I started a peony garden in 2016. And some are really slow growers. Peter Brand is fast and I appreciate it Thumbs up Every year peonies look better and better, but some 3-year olds have never bloomed yet. Shrug!
