That's all I have for now are promises. The only roses I have that are blooming are the ones I got from Home Depot/Lowes, none of my roses I had in-ground already are blooming.

But here's some irises! I really want some yellows. These light blue ones are my Grape KoolAid irises. I took some to work today.. they smell WONDERFUL!

For some reason, my camera refuses to take a clear closeup of the peach iris. Huh.

My beardstongue penstemon is blooming. These are great xeric plants. I was supposed to get two red ones as I like them better, but the container was mis-labeled. :(

Almost all of my columbines are in full-bloom. They're beyond easy to grow!

Here's my Austrian Copper. Filled w/promises.. I can't BELIEVE I don't have a single bloom yet!!!

FINALLY got some blooms!!! YAY! I was kind of hoping that the whole bush would go up at once, but beggers can't be choosers.

Here's another view. I need to replace those old boards & cut the grass.. actually, I'll just rip it all out. :)

I love this rose. I've tried growing it here a couple of times, but it doesn't like our heat at all. Sure does well in Durango, CO though!

Here's Golden Masterpiece. Truly a beautiful yellow rose. And you can see just how pathetic the bush itself is.. and the fact that it's giving me a second flush of blooms already! It's been in the ground less than a month.

I got this Incognito from Burlington Roses (can't wait til she updates her catalog!). You can see the massive bud/bloom on such a teeny plant. How can it keep that heavy thing lifted is beyond me.

I tried to get true-to-color, but the light wasn't cooperating (overcast). So the rose looks a bit more coral than the nice mauve it truly is.

My peach iris is NOT photogenic. I could NOT get a true-to-color. It's a bit darker than this photo.
