As most of you know, I grow bottle trees. Here is the latest to join my forest. A bottle rainbow



I found the frame for my rainbow at an estate auction in the country. I go to those auctions and look around before time in the barns, sheds, and garages. Most people are in the house and I am in the weeds. I saw some old broken shovels and rakes, some aluminum pieces, old heavy chains, a few old plow blades and when time to bid I won 'everything behind the barn' for $3.50........ a junky's dream. The aluminum frame has a sticker on it that reads '7 foot ladder ring' but there were only two pieces. I brought them home and just let them sit in the back of my mind then one day this spring it struck me to put them together and make a bottle rainbow. The holes were already in it, and spaced perfectly, so I bought very long bolts that were threaded all the way up and the nuts to fasten them to it firmly and I was in business.

Those who like bottle trees love this one and those that do not like bottle trees think it is the epitome of tacky. I love it. LOL

I'm not really big on bottle trees, but that rainbow is just wonderful!
