Maximize this attached picture. This is my weather forecast for this weekend & Monday. Today, 90. Sat & Sunday, in the 50s????

WTH!!!!!!!!! This had BETTER not be like '04, whereas we nearly had SNOW in the middle of June.. DH & I had to dig out our heavy coats for 3 days!

I would be thrilled with 50 right now. We are going to be in the low 90's for the weekend. It will be a nice cool break from the 113 we endured yesterday.

That's not a 40 degree difference, though. The low tonight is supposed to be the same as the high on Saturday.

I know it doesn't do any good to complain about the weather, but it just reeks havoc on my poor plants. Sad

GardenGuyAZ - Well, perhaps when I'm half as old as you, maybe then I can tolerate such extreme weather changes.

How does that old saying go? When it snows ... make snow cones?

I chose to live here in Prescott because it frequently cools off to 50F at night during the summer. Cool evenings are a great tonic after bright, hot days IMO.

That said, I don't relish the thought of late June frosts which, though very rare, can kill whole gardens. I guess it's all part of the package.

But what do I know? I'm Alan's age, roughly speaking. I've lived in ten places and I'm going to be grumpy wherever I live. If it's not the weather, it's bound to be something else.
