Here's an interesting flower that popped up in my yard. Anyone know what it is?

It's Hibiscus trionum, commonly called Flower-Of-An-Hour. It commonly volunteers in gardens or just about anywhere there is bare soil.

Thanks!
I don't know where it came from since not many people are into flowers around me, and definitely not into anything unusual. I've collected seeds from it.

Tabby,
don't worry--if you had one of them this year, next year you'll have 50,000.
i got some one year in a load of compost, and I've been struggling ever since to get rid of them.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.

Feel free to get rid of a few in this direction! Hilarious!
