I have some epi's that are just about ready to move up to a 4 inch pot this fall, hopefully.

Lately i've noticed orange spots on the tips of the leaves in the new growth after a closer look something seems to be making holes in the leaves but not all the way through?

Any help as to what it could be and how to get rid of it if it's harmful would be greatly appreciated!!!Thumb of 2012-08-15/jojoe/c01f7d

jojoe: i'm not sure. My first thought was maybe damage from scale insects but I really don't know for sure so I have no clue what a good solution would be. I don't use chemical controls for insects on my plants but prefer natural solutions when at all possible. I use isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and liquid dish soap for many insects. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along with some suggestions soon.
