well - looks like I am to late for this pod. Seems like one seed must have fallen out. I will collect pods tonight or in the morning, but looks like I am to late for this one has already fallen out. Thumbs down

Stephanie, yep, there are more seeds in there, but I hate it when I don't get them before a seed or two falls out.

Ya, just where do those dropped seeds go? That is the state in which I gather most seeds, it seems. Always late to the game!

Yesterday I had a pod opening so I picked it and low and behold this red beetle came out of it. I think it was some sort of milkweed bug.

Mona...........you're so right about the seeds disappearing. Those little gremlins must really get around as I have had the same problem. In fact I must admit that I even tried using a magnifying glass to find some very wanted seeds but even that was in vain Blinking Thumbs down
Cindy that red beetle sounds like it might be a red lily beetle. Do you have lilium?????

Depending on where you live, it can take from 1 to 3 years. The average for me is 2 years.

No, I think it was what they call a harlequin beetle. If I see another one I will try and get a pic of it.
