Our local newspaper today had an article in the Home & Garden section about Roger's Gardens in Newport Beach, California designing with succulents and the succulent lady's purse was the lead photo in the article. I googled and found the article on-line @ the Orange County, California newspaper showing even more photo's and ideas. I really love that purse and the vertical garden ... and the wreath/swag which reminded me of the succulent wreath someone here on ATP made! I wish I could easily grow succulents, but with our heat and humidity I don't have much luck with them for long. This is just so cool ... Enjoy!

Oh man .. I wonder why it isn't working? This was from a couple of weeks ago and was so neat! I will try to find it again.

Well, it's weird, I can't seem to find the article anymore. I thought I'd be able to find it on-line again. Shrug! Sorry. It was really cool.

Cute. I wonder if we could substitute sempervivum for the echeveria in a lot of those designs.

Carol: Thank You! That's it ... I thought that succulent purse was amazing and I love the little succulents planted in the wine corks ... the wreath's are nice too but do not compare at all to the beautiful wreath that goldfinch4/Chris made and posted photo's of awhile back!

tabby: I bet you could substitute a lot of plants for the echeveria. I saw one photo of the purse that was planted with coleus and other shade loving plants instead of succulents.

I agree with Chris.

Tabby you should be able to substitute all of the tender succulents and use your long list of hardy succulents. Lovey dubby
