One of my adopted roses is blooming. And 2 others have buds on them.

Already? Wow! You did a great job of digging them up, moving them all that way, and replanting them. They must not have suffered any shock at all.

I am proud of the job I did. Matt and Dovey helped me with the digging and I owe them alot for their kindness.

You bet! I wasn't figuring I'd have roses blooming for a few months if at all this year. Next year, I will have lots of roses.

I noticed this morning that my Poema climber now has a tiny flower bud on it and plenty of new growth. I am so happy that these roses handled the hot summer transplant and are settling in so well.

What on earth did you do right? Whatever it is, LET ME KNOW!!! Every time I plant one, it's always weeks to MONTHS before I get a bloom! YAY!! You gotta take pics once Poema is blooming!

I plan to take pictures of them all as they bloom.

As to what I do?? Well, I had 6 hours to talk to them on the way home and all the time I was cutting them back and packing the car. You see I explanded that I really love roses and was going to give them a good home, BUT if they chose not to grow that was their decision and I could always add their little dead bodies to the burn pile if they were so mean as not to grow for me. I think I scared them

Maybe that's what I need to start doing! GROW FOR ME, DAMMIT!! GROW!!! OR I'LL YANK YOU UP SO FAST IT'LL MAKE YOUR LEAVES SPIN! GROW!!!!!
