He is indeed one of the authors of The New Encyclopedia of Daylilies. John P. Peat is the other author.

Wonderful books to. I have both and just love them.

I grow Bourbon Street. Your photo of it is so pretty. It's one of the ones that I'll probably have forever. I repotted it last Fall and it sure did improve the blooms this year. They were bigger and had more red in them than they did. It's still very very dark. the name really fits this bloom.

You are welcome. I saw the notice of the sale elsewhere and thought I would share. The main problem there was that the ones on sale are the more pricy new ones. Still a great buy if it was the one(s) you want.

I love Bourbon Street. I have a few more of his, but somehow missed taking photos of them (or they are one of the many that are still unlabeled).
