I am so impressed with the fact that the starter plants in the greenhouse are surviving and thriving with this unpredictable, difficult weather. Yesterday for example the temp in the GH went from 74 morning to 104 by late afternoon. Fans are on, everything is open, shade cloth is on, but it is impossible to keep it the way it should be. These plants should not be in 104 deg. heat in a greenhouse, but they are growing and seem to love it. If I did it on purpose with a heater, they would dry up and die. The humidity is also impossible to keep where it should be.
The little guys are looking great and have been selling like hotcakes. Especially the Maid of Orleans Jasmine. Nothing like the fragrance of Jasmine with that first cup of coffee in the morning. I just had to share them with you. And I need to vent a little.
Wow, very nice JB! It's a good thing you have fans and open windows and shade cloth in that greenhouse or you'd probably have some toasted plants for sure. The weather has been so hot this summer.
