Just bought 2 mums for front door containers

I hope the mums match.Its hard to buy a color when its hidden.I was looking for white but there wasnt one single plant in hundreds that had any open blooms.
Lucky for me those ceramic pots dont crack ,they are fairly sheltered duering the winter.Good thing they are too heavy to haul around much.

Can't wait 'till you can get some pictures when they are in full bloom.

Lovely without blooms but I bet they are magnificent when they bloom out.

I think they have some deep pink in the tips,most probably the whole bloom is deep pink.

Can't wait to see the 'In bloom' photo.

Is that every going to be impressive in full bloom. It will be breath taking.

I worked for a green house guy ages ago. He raised geraniums for a retailer. He used to sell mums and told me those plants are trimmed and pruned and given hormones so they will bloom like that. Mine never re bloomed the same way even tho I pinched. Its worth the 8 dollars every year.

Jo Ann, I have had the same experience with mums. I agree, it is better to buy them new every year if you want that beautiful full look.
