I'm thinking about adding this one, I looked but saw no "Child Plants" listed and then looked on the LA and it didn't have any seeds available. I need good parents, not just a pretty face, so does anyone grow this beauty and will it grow seeds???

I do have this one, I didn't use it because it was potted up in an area that had other potted plants I wasn't using and I just kept forgetting about it until later in the day when it would be too hot to pollinate. I will be using it more next year. James has set pods on it. Fred has used it and has some seedlings out of it with BC as the pollen parent http://garden.org/thread/view_...
I think he has some others also out of it, but not sure he has any with BC as the pod parent.

If you are looking at the one on the auction, that is a good price for 2 fans since SF go for $20-30.

Hey, that post has some great seedlings. Fred auctioned the bottom seedling in that post and I won it. I also won another one from that same cross.

Mona I take that back on not using it I actually sold some seed from it, BUTTERFLY COVE x HEATHER GRACE. I didn't keep them because I was going to just use BC as a "make seed to sell" daylily, but I will be using it more next year.
Gardenfantasies7921 has sold some seed from it also. There may be more but the closed auctions only go back for 2 months so if any were sold before then (like last year) it won't show up.

I also have a few seedlings from using BUTTERFLY COVE as a pod parent. They haven't bloomed yet tho.

Thanks everyone so much. The auction that I'm going to bid on, they live less than 25 miles from me. They are the only ones that I know of that close. I don't know them, but I did "chat" a little bit last fall. I notices 4 eyed ones on there that I like. I checked and most have "children" and they really look like that would make interesting crosses. Thanks everyone, again, Mona
