Hi! This is my first post so I will tell a little about myself.

I was born and raised around the Caribbean with Virginia being "home port". We now live in North Carolina and I've been growing tropicals for a few years now. My green thumb was only developed maybe 10 years ago.

As a teenager I had a huge plumeria tree growing up to my second story bedroom window. Missing Panama, and that way of life is what got me interested in Plumeria, however I did not grow my first ones until about 6 years ago. NoIDs, both. And lost them both when my greenhouse heater went down.

Last year I bought another noid and it began blooming late winter/early spring and is still blooming now. Just a white with yellow center, but has a great smell... most days. I also have another noid with an inflo and my best guess would be about 2 weeks before I see flowers.

I have bought a lot of cuttings this year, both rooted and unrooted. So now I'm just passing time, dreaming of those days in the future when I have lots of blooms.

Thanks everyone! I'll post some pics this weekend.

Lonnie, yes, I'm the same moonie. :)

Oh, just for clarification since I don't have a gender specific name, I'm a girl. Or old woman, more like. LOL
