This lovely lady is three years old and this is her first year to bloom for me. Big and tall and full of buds waiting to pop. We need some sunshine for her to show how beautiful she is. If you look past her on the left, you will see the snow..............how I adore my February bloomers. Thumbs up

To be honest, it was not happy in the greenhouse because I was having so much trouble with our stupid weather, keeping the humidity up and the temp. steady. Anyhow, I brought her and another big girl inside and they both bloomed after being inside. In the meantime they got some sort of bug on them and I had a time getting that out of the way. The buds are just not opening the way they should because of this weather. They love it on the deck in the summer, but have never bloomed until now. I have them in the bird room inside the east windows and they love water. I do nothing special except water them and they seem really happy. I will try and get a shot of a full bloom. JB

Here is April Tryst in bloom. Many of the buds fell off before opening which is upsetting and this is not a perfect bloom, but it shows her beauty even with its flaws. Maybe next year we will have better weather and now I know what she likes and does not like. This summer they will all go out on my South Deck and get lots of sun everyday it shines.

Thank you Lee Anne. I took that with my phone and it is not a very good shot. Sorry.

Wow, I wish I could grow those........but I have a feeling I'd kill them.
Sorry to hear your weather messed her up, that is always so frustrating when that happens!

If you have any pussy willows in your garden, but them, bring them in and you will have catkins in no time. My Black and White Pussy willows are popping and are rooting in the water. Everything is so anxious for Spring.

I'm going to have to try to grow and camelia inside. They die in our extreme summer heat outside!!
