Come with me while we spend take an afternoon stroll through a small part of the Denver Botanic Gardens on York Street in Denver.
This oasis of blossoms and greenery in the middle of urban homes is a fun relaxing place to spend an hour or two.
I did not get all the pictures I wanted but here are a few of the plants that I did catch.

It is not just flowers --- this brilliant hued Barberry is a delight
Hidden bowers for relief from sun or relaxation and meditation are located all around the gardens.

Some of the paths lead to surprising views and along flowing waterways in the shade that restore on a hot day
Alpine Garden - Another hidden garden a bit of a walk but so worth it.
