With the early spring most of us in the US will have a few blooms in September.

Merlot was a bonus from Karen Pierce when I visited them last year and bought another daylily. I really like this one.

Pink Lemonade Party

While not the best blooms of the season, Cave Creek Canyon has several new scapes.

Very Berry Candy had good colors this cool, overcast morning.

Thanks, Betty. The trip to southern Mecca was such a special trip and the daylilies were awesome. It was neat to see seedlings that later are registered and introduced. I am still waiting for some really special seedlings to be introduced. It was a trip I will never forget. Thanks to my sweet hubby for smiling the whole time, even though he is not a gardener.

Ann, sweet hubbys are like that, yes they are.

So happy to see the photo of Merlot. That one is on my wish list.
Isn't it great to see blossoms this time of year? How many times
do these plants rebloom anyway? We're gonna have to start
calling them a continuous blooming plant. Green Grin!

They all look great too.

Thanks for your gracious comments, Shirlee. I have had some daylilies that have been blooming almos non-stop since May. The ones that come to mind immediately are Icicles, Cutting Loose, Oklahoma Sand Burr and Pink Lemonade Party. I am loving all the late rebloom. Think we will have an early fall?

I have wondered about that too, Ann. Weird year for sure, might as well include
weird fall. It does appear that an El Nino is showing strong signs of developing, but they are not sure if
it will be a weak or strong one. For here, a strong one means very cold and dry
if I can go from past observations.

Very nice blooms. I still have a couple blooming and I saw some more scapes out there. I don't usually have anything blooming this late. The thing is, it's so hot, I don't care to go out and look at them.

I have some blooming over the last few days. Some are reblooms, some are messed up (I think) because they were new this summer, and some are lates.

Grape Pretender, Night Rhythms & Prototype. All new from Maryotts this summer. These may be reblooms, but since they are new, I am not sure. Prototype especially is simply gorgeous in real life, the color here does not do it justice.

Reblooms of Indian Ripple and Triple Cherries. Indian Ripple is currently in a pot, to hopefully be planted this weekend. This daylily impresses me more and more all the time. Triple Cherries is a year old, and has been a blooming fool.

VT Maroon Branch, my latest blooming daylily. I need to move it forward in the "Red Bed" it is in. It doesn't get as tall as it should here, and is being hidden by the foliage of others in that bed.

I was hoping on more reblooms this year because of the early bloom season, but I am guessing that the drought has messed things up, even though I watered. Rain instead of village water makes a huge difference. Plus, there is still some time, although even Stella hasn't rebloomed this year. ~Jan

Really nice ones, Jan! And I'm pretty sure the ones from Maryott's (if they were received this summer) are reblooming because I remember Bill Maryott saying he doesn't start shipping until after the first bloom. And I sure hope I'm right on this...

Those are all pretty blooms. I have Indian Ripple on my short list already and your photo Jan just makes me want it more.....I have some blooming now (Sherry Lane Carr, America's Most Wanted, Coral Majority, Shores of Time) and a few more I can't think of right now. But with 104 degree heat, like Dot said, I'm not standing out there admiring them much. All I seem to do anyway is water, water and more water......Maryl

Love the blooms, and I especially love Indian Ripple! I have no daylilies blooming, and none are going to rebloom, so I'm enjoying the pictures! I have to get some late bloomers when I can find some room to plant them!

You know how when you put a big order in, and wait several months for it to arrive, and then you go "why did I get this one"? Well that was me with Triple Cherries last summer.

And now I know why I bought it - no regrets, it was a blooming fool. Always opened beautifully, and often several blossoms at a time - and only a year old.

Indian Ripple just glows. It too has quickly become one of my favorites this summer. I got it for really cheap on the LA from PossumHollow. ~Jan

That looks very similar to my FFO on GRAPE PRETENDER. I received that as a gift plant from Bill last year. It did not bloom for me then but did this year. For me, the color settled in as the blooming went on.

I didn't have the camera handy this morning (I'll try to snap some pics at lunch) but I have a bloom on ANNABELLE'S BLUSH and LINDA'S MAGIC. LM was also a gift plant and honestly, I love it. It looks so plain in photos but they just do not do it justice. Plus, this is the second rebloom for it!

I had a scape on a seedling from Mary Gaskins but the damned slugs got to it before I got to the store to get some bait! Grumbling

Nice to see some people still have blooms going! It has been 2 months since the last blooms here. The heat and drought did not help out this year!! Thumbs down

Indian Ripple has been on my want list too for a couple of years. I need to let something go to make room and get it! Thumbs up

It has been pouring buckets so I'm posting an old pic of Linda's Magic which is reblooming. Captain Blue, Larkspur Blues, Atomic Glow and Pistachio Eyes have rebloom scapes.
