I've had a couple of seed pods on one of my adeniums for a month or more. I finally noticed yesterday that one side has opened and the seeds are beginning to fly off.
Is there any chance that the blooms from the seeds would be different than the mother plant? If so, I would sprout a few of them but if not, I don't really have the room for more of the same plant.
Adeniums do not come true from seeds so yes, you could have some different blooms. The nice thing is too, Adenium seedlings can bloom really soon, like 6-8 months...

That's true, they don't usually look like the parent, if you want a yellow or something. That looks like what I call a "Classic" Adenium, like those found in the wild, so the offspring will probably be close or the same. Is it a grafted plant?
