It's a lovely place; they have a great selection of pots. And plants.

Hi, all.

What a badly designed web site that Isaac Farms outfit owns! The plants and pots are lovely, but they seem intent on keeping their address and phone number as well-guarded secrets. Oh, if you live across the street from them, you don't need their address but when you travel 85 miles for a day-long jaunt of nurseries in that area, it's nice to have your GPS know where you're ging next. I had to resort to the Yellow Pages to find it. I now know where they are and I'll swing by them next time I am in the area. But as far as their web site is concerned... Crimony, my pet snake could design a better web sight. That is not a rare occurence in nurseries. Their plants are great and the web site is just plain pitiful. I should offer to redo it for them.

Take care, all.
Sylvain.

Isaac Farms is a really neat place, especially it you like to have a good selection of planters (a bit pricey, though), succulents and adeniums.

But yes, their website leaves much to be desired.

In full disclosure, Isaac Farms was the place I bought the double flower adenium that now is in pretty bad shape. I was a bit upset because it wasn't cheap, in fact, I paid more for it than any of my others, and now I'm just hoping it makes it. Of course, we all know that adeniums, as hardy as they seem, can be incredibly fickle plants.

The succulents we got there, on the other hand, are thriving and in very good condition.

MRT in Venice is another great place for POTS and garden toys... great selection of citrus trees, bromeliads, and landscape plants. They had a couple of 10 foot macadamia trees for 49.99 each. Only a few small adeniums for 6.99. But a very fun place to visit. Pot prices were very good plus they had buy one get a second at half off.
