A small thorny shrub with pink leaves.

A friend of mine gave me a cutting of this small/tiny shrub. I didn´t have the camera with me so these are just photos of the cutting. The plant has dark green leaves at the bottom but the thin branches have pinkish small leaves.

Looks like some kind of Barberry to me, but that's only a guess.

Berberis thunbergii f. atropurpurea 'Harlequin' (Japanese barberry 'Harlequin')
I hope my cuttings will survive, this is a lovely little shrub.

Thanks Connie, It might be too warm where you are, but I think this little "Harlequin" will do well in the cool climate up here .
