I guess I will do cleanup today too, it was 25 last night so most stuff will be dead for sure, at least it is sunny today. We had crazy wind for 2 days so there's a lot of branches from the willow tree all over the yard.
I'm wishing I could put all the hoses away.. harvest is going full force at the moment and with as dry and windy as it is, the threat of fire is very real. We saved our neighbors combine from burning down last week. He was combining soybeans and it didn't take long for it to start smoking and flames to begin.
It won't be long though before I can get all the outsides stuff done.
I guess my wish for winter is coming faster than I anticipated! We're suppose to have 5 to 6 inches of snow and 40 miles per hour winds tonight and tomorrow. That should officially end the season and water the perennials at the same time. Yes, I did put my hoses away today!
