Yellow and orange are my top two favorite colors for daylilies. I think daylilies do yellow and orange especially well. One of my favorite yellows is a polychrome called Frequent Comment. Its coloration, especially in the morning, is complex and glowing, hence the Hyridizers name as it garnered many oohs and ahs from visitors. By afternoon it is still a nice shade of yellow, but without much of the overlay..... Looking forward to more entries. Especially like Hidden Riches so far........Maryl

Except for citrina, my yellows didn't bloom this year I only have a few anyways, but I really really love citrina. Sure it's not as big or as bold, but it's a wonderful old daylily.

Shirlee, I too change my colors each year it seems. My most recent Maryotts order is golds and yellows mostly.
