Neighbor has a huge chestnut tree. I'd like to start trees from branches/clones. Any suggestions from someone who has done this?

Chestnuts are normally propagated by grafting rather than rooting twigs. I assume this is because rooting is difficult. Is there something special about this tree that you wouldn't want to go the (much easier) route of seeds?

Not really. If there was a local wholesale nursery that had bushes I'd be thrilled.
