Some of those are lovely but I think shipping will destroy any bargain prices....

that is what i thought but here is the email

Sure I can give you 5% on pots that are $5 or less and everything else 10% if you order the 50 pots.
As for shipping, I can't really tell you how much discount it will be. But it will be a significant discount as I can pack a couple of pots in one box depending on its size.
Also if you provide me with a commercial shipping address shipping will be a lot cheaper.

i know shipping fed ex is much cheaper if you ship to a business address also just an idea i still have not found any nice pots but 1 plain clay pot

so i might just make up a mock order to get a shipping quote and i think i can get a business address to ship to.

Hi, Mike.

Thank you for all the hard work you put yourself through to organize those co-ops. The cost of shipping, as we all know, greatly influences the bottom line of our online purchases. It's as if each item had its own seat in Donald Trump's personal jet. I always thought shippers took a few criteria into consideration before quoting a price for shipping. Volume certainly plays a role and, I imagine, so does weight. Stacking pots one inside the other would reduce volume, but wouldn't reduce weight. I would be curious to see how much of a difference all this would make.

I'll follow this thread with great interest.

Sylvain.

The bowl-shaped pots I've bought at the new Home Depot cost $12, and they weigh a LOT! They probably hold a gallon and 1/2 of mix, leveled off. I'm starting to use pot saucers! hahahaha.
