Interesting, isn't it, the different points of view on a subject---I think of the "tip hat" as an acknowledgment of a person or of a person's achievements. For instance, if someone posts pictures of flowers they have hybridized, and I like them, I will use the "tip hat" to let them know I think they have done something really well--I am not saying Thank You". I have actually had men tip their hats to me, and that is not thank you, it is an acknowledgment of my presence. I just think it would be neat to have an emoticon with a "Thank You" sign.
