I had never seen or heard of sedums until a good friend gave me some,now i just love them.But, i can't seem to find any for sale.I have looked through the catalogs i have and only found one type.

I would appreciate any advice on any catalogs i could order some from or anyway to find them.

Lampranthus pink Vygie,perennial???? zone 8 ????

It's not in the best of shape,should i over winter it inside or plant & hope it comes back looking better if it will make it in my zone.

I have told my friend to please SLOW DOWN to many plants poorly cared for or needing rooting and not enough time especially since it's been succulents, succulents!!

also have sedum reflexum 'blue spruce'
graptosedum 'vera higgins'
senecio mandraliscae 'blue fingers' trying to root if not i will loose that one.sorry about bad typing its one handed.

any advice on planting and if zone 8 hardy.

Lampranthus: Pink Vygie (Lampranthus blandus)
I over winter mine indoors, I am zone 8. It is an easy one to winter indoors.

Sedum 'Blue Spruce' is very tough, winter hardy sedum, and should do well for you: Jenny's Stonecrop (Petrosedum rupestre subsp. rupestre 'Blue Spruce')

Graptosedum: Zones 9-11

I have Graptosedum Vera Higgins and love it. Just got it this spring and will have to bring indoors to winter. This one likes full to part shade. http://www.youngs-garden.com/s... I'll have to get a picture for the database.

Glad you were able to ID it in your pot. I have a whole bunch of them started now over the winter. I'm surprised at how well they're doing in the house.

I have good success with sedums from youngs-garden.com, mountaincrestgardens.com, local Lowes has sedum.

Sedum Kamtschaticum has no entry for Sweet and Sour in database. I want to enter it.

It may be a bit before it shows up in the database Linda. I submitted it for you. The correct botanical name is Phedimus Kamtschaticum 'Sweet and Sour'. Some of the sedum have gone through some name changes. As soon as the new entry is available we will add 'Also Sold As' Sedum Kamtschaticum 'Sweet and Sour'. That way it will come up on a search of either name.
