This one took a while to get added and to those who were waiting for it, I'm sorry for the delay. But it's here now, better late than never!

The Also Sold As (ASA) field appears when you edit the name of the plant, and it acts just like the common names or cultivars. You click the green plus sign to add a new field and then type away.

It is a free form field and you can type whatever you want into that field.

The ASA field is indexed by the plants search engine, so you can do searches and find plants by their ASA names.

Thanks Dave,

How do I delete a name from cultivar, where there are more than one.

For example, Calibrachoa Cabaret Hot Pink is also sold as Isabells Hot Pink. I had set Isabells up as a 2nd cultivar name, but in reality is is a Also sold as. I can add the new info in the ASA, but it won't let me delete it out of the cultivar section

You should be able to just clear the field (delete everything in that field) and submit/save the proposal. Upon approving that proposal the cleared field should be deleted from the plant.

One more note: there was a bug that was making it impossible to remove all cultivars from a plant entry. I just now fixed that bug. So if you were trying to remove them all and that wasn't working, it will work now.
