Well, my robins aren't laying eggs, which is a good thing. For the past few days, the weather people swore up & down that we were going to get between 4-8" of snow Wednesday/Wed night, then another 3 Thursday.

That's why we have less than a dusting and the sun's shining. My Christmas lights don't look the same w/o all the snow...

Provided that the weather cooperates, I'll be building a 10ft Christmas tree in teh front yard as well.

Very cool! We brought the artificial tree out of the basement, removed the plastic wrap, and plugged it in. That's just about the extent of our celebration - except for food.

Our local paper sponsors an outdoor decoration&lights competition, posts addresses of contestants, tallies votes, and publishes the results. I wonder if there's anything like that in your area.
