What IS this (besides chlorotic?) I must have acquired it on purpose, since it's in a good pot in the sheltered fern garden, but it looks like some kind of annual, and I don't have room for them. Did someone sneak a sunflower into my shade garden?

Thin leaves, couldn't survive in full sun here in hot, dry 9b. I must have it for some reason.

I did feed it after taking this picture (really!) before someone turned me in to Plant Protective Services.

What am I growing? Thumb of 2012-09-17/seedforbrains/f6a873

You're exactly right! My assistant dug up a seedling and potted it up here. It's hers!

Thanks so much.
