Right now things are beginning to wind down in many gardens.

I have visited three public gardens this week and have seen some beautiful flowers

One of the nicest viewings was the Dahlia beds at both Fort Collins Botanic Gardens and Hudson Gardens in Littleton.

Both had some really nice Dahlia's. I will show you just a couple of my favorites.

I do not get enough sun to grow these beautiful plants but I do admire them.

Pretty! I do like dahlias and grow them from seed every year. Haven't had much luck with overwintering the tubers, tho. I really like those two that weren't labeled!
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

Beautiful, pity you cant grow them. Any chance of bouncing some sunlight through a strategically placed mirror?

Woofie, I wrap mine in newspaper then put them in a black plastic bag. I'm in zone 6a and I put them in an unheated garage against the wall that is attached to the house. So far this easy method has worked for me for the past 3 years.
