A lady at church has this plant coming up in her garden. It has square stems and the leaves have a heavenly scent of sassafrass/licorice. It is a 4" pot for reference on size.
Hope you can help me ID this plant.

When you wrote that earlier, Lynn, that was my clue. Nothing else with little purple flowers smells like sassafras.
