Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29

The first photo looks like one of the tall, variegated sedum. I can't tell by the photo, is it a succulent type plant?

Thanks Lynn, the leaves are kinda thin, It looks like it might bloom soon, aren't those buds? Maybe then it will be easier to tell.

The blooms will help. If it was a sedum it would have bloomed by now. On second look it also looks like the stems are woody type stems?
Wish my eyes were better.

Could that first plant be a Euphorbia? Possibly one of the variegated spurge?

Looks a little like snow on the mountain, I am going to take more close-ups.

The flowers of the second plant remind me of Persicaria..maybe Persicaria virginiana 'Painter's Palet'?

Thank You Myriam! You are correct, that is it!! Hurray! Hurray!
Our Data Base has no pictures of the flowers and that is what got my attention. A friend dug up a whole bag full of plants and gave them to me. I have it in a pot but I cannot keep it here, it is a little invasive. I noticed someone on the data base wants one, so maybe I will just mail it to her. Thank you again!

Good hearing from you, I was thinking about you a couple of weeks ago and wondered about how you've been doing. Green Grin!

What do you think of Pachysandra terminalis 'Variegata' for your first plant, Susan?

Thanks so much everybody! I am really excited, this is a nice plant. I love varigated stuff anyway, plus its evergreen and it sooooo works for me. I tip my hat to you.
